She was predeceased by: her father Homer Watts; her husband Bobby P. Mitchell; and her siblings, Thurston Watts (Jackie), Edward Watts and Doris McGarity.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Rodney Mitchell (Anita), Tamera Mitchell and Lesia Barkley (Stan); her grandchildren, Christa Norman (Mitch), Micah Mitchell (Linzi), Alicia Re (David), Nathan Barkley (Chelsie) and Sarah Tierney (Shane); her great grandchildren, Rhett, Claire, Charlie, Ella, Eli, Blakely, Riley, Theodore and Collin; and her sisters, Brenda Bryan (Steve) and Reta Johnson (George).
