He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Campbell Jones and Swannie Lee Jurney Jones; and his siblings, Edward P. Jones, David F. Jones, Paulette J. Driver and Violet J. Weisner.
He is survived by: his wife Karol Jones; his daughters, Allison Long (Derwin) and Jenny Love (Chans); his grandchildren, Hannah Jiménez (Aldo), Jesse Ann Long, Jurney Weatherman and Collin Weatherman; his godchildren, Wess Thompson and Jenna Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Carson Weatherman and Lilia Jiménez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Broad Street Church (355 S Broad St, Mooresville, NC 28115).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mooresville Area Bible Teachers Association (MABTA), P.O. Box 1091, Mooresville, NC 28115; Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County; or Broad Street Methodist Church in Mooresville.
