He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eakin and Cora Eakin (Predeceased); and his brother Gary Eakin. He is survived by: his wife Laddy Eakin; his children, Kimberly Eakin, Alan James Eakin, Elaine Eakin (Rosenquist) and Aaron Eakin; his brothers, Alvin Eakin and David Eakin; his grandchildren, Shaylin Rosenquist (Finch), Shaun Rosenquist, Christina Rosenquist and Michelle Schechter; and his great grandchildren, Ava Finch, Cohen Finch and Erikka Douglas.
