It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abbie Eudy Layton of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Thaddeous Eudy and Carrie Lee Allman; her husband John Archie Layton; her children, Elva Jane Seaford (David Thorne Seaford), Arthur Olin Layton and Art (Kathy Teague Layton); her sister Jane Allman Beeker; and her nephews, Mike Beeker and Mark Beeker.
