He is survived by: his parent Jessie Williams Hines; his wife Jackie Carter Hines of Mooresboro; his sons, Jeff Hines (Sherry) of Rutherfordton and Kevin Hines (Angela) of Charlotte; his stepdaughter Leanna Fraser (Tony) of Shelby; his sister Susie Coble (Royce) of Arkansas; and his granddaughter Amber Crawford (Jonathan) of Shelby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
