He is survived by: his wife April Henry James; his children, Megan Wilhoit (Chad Gordon) of Forest City, Zeke Kendall of Mooresboro and Joey Kendall of Mooresboro; his brother Herbert James, Jr. (Sandra) of Shelby; his brother-in-law Erlindo Guillermo of Forest City; his parents-in-law, Tina and Gary Henry of Delaware; and his grandchildren, Branson Wilhoit, Berkley Wilhoit, Emma Gordon, Zella Gordon and Jensen Gordon.
