She was predeceased by: her father W. E. Black; her daughter Amber Smith; and her brother Eddie Black. She is survived by: her mother Joyce Parker Black of Gastonia; her son Billy Smith of Bostic; her sisters, Deborah Hoffman, Sue Gilbert of Kings Mountain and June Fraley of Gastonia; and her grandchildren, Skyler Dysart, Morgan Smith, Baylee Smith and Noah Smith.
