With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Brooks Frye of Mooresboro, North Carolina, born in Ellenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Monroe Brooks and Mary Rogers Brooks; her husband Joe Clayton Frye; her brother Fay Jr. Brooks; and her friend Maurice Houser.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Frye (Karen) of Shelby, Craig Frye (Lynn) of Alabama and Jeff Frye (Lisa) of California; and her grandchildren, Jessica Hensley (Gary), Chris Frye (Sandra), Danielle Frye, Rebecca Huetson (Peter), Emily Frye, Nathaniel Frye (Beth Ann), Hayden Frye and Griffen Frye.
