With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Allen Sr. (Mooresboro, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clyde Allen and Lula Drewery Allen; and his siblings, John Allen, Lucille Wiggins, Dot Causby, Eva Parker, Helen Wellman and Margie Hopper.
He is survived by: his wife Donnis Smith Allen; his children, Roy Thomas Allen Jr. of Shelby, NC, Vickie Allen Richards of Shelby, NC, Teresa McCurry of Shelby, NC, Scott McCurry (Brenda) of Mooresboro, NC and Donna Metcalf of Mooresboro, NC; and his siblings, Harold Allen (Sandy) of Shelby, NC, Maudine Terry of Shelby, NC and Julie Owle of Shelby, NC.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
