He was predeceased by: his parent David Moore; his son Kevin "Butch" Johnson; and his brother Harold "Dinky" Moore. He is survived by: his parent Cora Hensley Moore; his children, Eddie Moore (Cindy) of Rutherfordton, Brenda Greene (Larry) of Mooresboro and Sheila Patterson (Michael); and his siblings, Carolyn Walters of Union Mills, Teresa Lovelace (Bobby) of Henrietta, Don Moore (Lynn) of Ellenboro and Johnny Moore (Martha) of Harris. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
