She was predeceased by: her father Everette Beaver; her son Gene Melton; and her siblings, Larry Beaver, Danny Beaver, Brenda Clark and Jerry Beaver.
She is survived by: her son David Melton (Susan) of Shelby; her grandchildren, Mandy Melton Carter (Drew) of Harrisburg and Greg Melton (Emily) of Shelby; her great grandchildren, Van Carter, Levi Carter, Grace Melton and Millie Melton; and her sisters, Judy Hamlet of Shelby and Kathy McCraw (Brian) of Shelby. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
