He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter Allison and Evie Potter Allison; his daughter Terry Allison; and his siblings, Lillie Mae Jackson, Madge Randolph, Virginia Huskey, Yvonne Ivey, Dewey Allison, Gene Allison and Maynard Allison.
He is survived by: his sister Helen Littlejohn (Jab) of Gaffney.
