She is survived by: her adoptive parents, Chip Hawkins and Joyce Hawkins of Mooresboro; her children, Jamie Barnes of Gastonia, Heather Smith of Cherokee, NC, Christin Dawn of Cherokee and Dillon Hegler of Mooresboro; and her sister Angel Lamont of Cherokee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
