He is survived by: his children, Brenda Cherney (John Frame) of Midland, William Voelker, III of Matthews and Glenn Voelker of Monroe; his grandchildren, Philip Cherney, Jr. (Haley Cherney), Nicole Morgan (Roger), Caleb Voelker, Forrest Voelker, Brady Voelker and Spencer Voelker; his great grandchild Jayden Morgan; and his close friend Barbara Dulaney.
