He is survived by: his children, Angie Byrum (Randy) of Monroe, NC, Brian Aldridge of Monroe, NC and Tonya Helms (James) of Monroe, NC; his siblings, Linda Craig (Dean) of Indian Trail, NC and Mike Aldridge of Monroe, NC; his grandchildren, Kerstyn Laney (Dylan) of Monroe, NC, Christian Aldridge of Wilmington, NC and Logan Helms of Monroe, NC; his mother-in-law Mary L. Connor of Indian Trail, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Maynor of Indian Trail, NC, Robert A. Maynor Jr. (Sara) of Summerville, SC and Benny Thomas of Lake Wiley, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
