He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Norman Belk and Martha Wade Austin Belk. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Belk (Brittany) and Zach Belk (Sara); his sisters, Jane Cummings and Bonnie Belk; and his grandchildren, Austin, Paisley, Easton and Allie Belk.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110.
