He is survived by: his friend Darlene Funderburk; his son Brandon Burnette (Christian) of Indian Trail; his grandchildren, Carson Burnette and Avery Burnette; his sisters, Ann Simpson (Larry) and Judy Eudy (Mitchell); his great grandchildren, Shakil and Samir; and also, Michael Funderburk, Tasha Locklear, Jamari, Amariya, Thalia, Selena and Brayson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Locust (501 N Central Ave, Locust, NC 28097). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
