He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Neal and Lois Rushing Helms; his sister Judy Price; his brother-in-law Roger Price; and his father-in-law Kenneth Rushing.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Rushing Helms; his sons, Casey Helms (Callie) of Monroe and Cody Helms (Ashley) of Monroe; his siblings, Rick Helms (Maravon) of Monroe and Pam (Barry) of Monroe; his mother-in-law Frances Rushing of Monroe; his brother-in-law Junior Rushing (Jennifer) of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Gaige Helms, Grayson Helms, Paisley Helms and Caroline Helms. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
