He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Roak Owen and Ethel Hoover Owen; and his siblings, Richard, Donald, John, Earl, James Owen, Pauline Rockwell and Roberta Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife April Owen; his children, Wade Owen of Monroe and Sherri Owen Shank (Steve) of Unionville; and his grandchildren, Meredith Shank and Hudson Shank.
