Steven Henry Carpenter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Henry Carpenter of Monroe, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Angel Carpenter (Bud) and Harriet Dursin Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Susan Funderburk Carpenter; his sons, Brian Christopher Carpenter (Mary) of Amesbury, MA and Corey Scott Carpenter (Susannah) of Weddington, NC; his grandchildren, Jake, Gus, Mayme, Fern Carpenter, Jack, Henry and Lucy Carpenter; his siblings, Rob Carpenter and Jane Carpenter; and his nieces, Nikki and Jana.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at 725 Deese St, Monroe, NC 28112. A reception was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104).
