He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roy Simpson and Georgia Thomas Simpson; his wife Frances; his brother Cullie Max Simpson; and his grandson Cameron Blair Simpson.
He is survived by: his sons, William Gregg Simpson (Julie) and Ted Simpson (Debbie); his grandchildren, William Garner Simpson (Rachael) and Wendi Simpson Howard (Shawn); and his great grandchildren, Gage Howard, Grayson Howard and Adalynn Simpson.
