He is survived by: his mother Betty Simpson; his children, Josh Simpson, Macklin Simpson, Rhiannon Simpson, Mason Simpson (Ivy Will) and Megan King; the mother of his children Lori Phillips; his siblings, Dwayne Simpson (Pam), Dennis Simpson, Sherry Breneman and Gloria Haney (Jeffrey); his nieces and nephews, Marcus Breneman (Karen), Matthew Breneman, Leah Croom (Tim), Reece Simpson (Leslie), Nikki Simpson, Kim Lanza, Jessica Haney and Jordyn Haney; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bryce Breneman, Brook Breneman, Alexis Breneman, Emily Breneman, Anna Croom, Caleb Croom, Kinsley Osborne, Brandon Osborne, Noah Simpson and Kellen Simpson.
