He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Wilbert Cleo Dyess Jr. and Helen Joyce Newberry Dyess of Houston, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Williamson Dyess; his children, Rebekah Dyess, W. C. Dyess (Kim), Daniel Lane Dyess (Jordan) and Sarah Dyess Nicholas (Christopher); his grandchildren, Judah, Nathan, Levi, Desi, Lauren and Charlie; his siblings, Kelly Dyess of Waller, Texas, Gary Dyess (Mina) of Copperas Cove, Texas, Blaine Dyess (Doreen) of Middleton, Tennessee, Andrea Hendricks (Barry) of Terrell, Texas and Justin Dyess (Pam) of Ossineke, Michigan.; and his children-in-law, Kim, Jordan and Christopher Nicholas. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
