He is survived by: his sons, Shann Rushing (Jennifer Heintz) of Raleigh and Brandon Rushing (Chase Rushing) of Mint Hill; his sister Carolyn McKnight (Ed McKnight); and his grandchildren, Colin Rushing, Caroline Rushing, Jackson Attride and Sloane Attride.
