It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Parker of Monroe, North Carolina, born in Hamlet, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Parker and Maggie Coward Parker; and his siblings, Billy Parker, Thomas Parker, Robert Parker and Agenora Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Fowler Parker of Monroe, NC; his children, Dale O'Brian of Asheboro, NC, Rodney D. Parker of Monroe, NC, Michelle Hill (Anthony) of Randleman, NC and Hannah Tyson (Kelly) of Monroe, NC; and his brother Jerry Parker of Rockingham, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
