She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jewson and Francis Mitchell Jewson. She is survived by: her children, Coburn Rising, II of Fayetteville, NY, Gail Yost (Erik) of Pensacola, FL, Carol Kurtz of Tolleson, AZ, Tammy Kilts (Mark) of Pennellville, NY and Tania Courtwright of Monroe, NC; and her siblings, Winston Jewson of Garner, NC, Sharon Kendrick of Bunker Hill, WV, Jacquelyn Bell of Myrtle Beach, SC and Royanne Jewson of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
