It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Burris Sr. of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Burris and Jessie Fisher Burris; his wife Sylvia Loren Burris; and his stepson James "Zeke" Baucom. He is survived by: his son Robert T. Burris Jr. (Amy); his stepdaughter Debra Baucom; his stepgranddaughter Brittney; and his brother Pete Burris.
