He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sylvester Brantner and Minnie Ruth Brantner; his wife Mary Brantner; his sister Barbara Brantner; his children, David Brantner (Kasey) and Sarah Brantner; his grandsons, David Brantner II and Heath Brantner; his sisters, Wanda Rayley (Kenneth) and Sylvia Ricci (Don); his siblings-in-law, George Crouch (Cindy), Darline Helms and Louise Bennett; and his nieces and nephews, Carrie Jones (Danny), Meghan Meadows (Mike), Amber Bryan (Wesley), Amanda Williams (Darrin), Travis Bennett (Amanda), Scott Bennett, Kevin Rayley, Kenny Rayley, Donald Ricci and Michael Ricci.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forward Church of God (2691 W Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
