He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Irvin DuBose and Linda Gale O'Connor; his stepparents, Tom O'Connor and Mary Lou DuBose; his grandparents, Ralph and Candacey DuBose; and his grandchildren, Baby DuBose and Shiloh Greer DuVall.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Morris DuBose; his children, Leslie Plyler (Chris), Gale DuVall (Matthew) and Ryan DuBose (Kiersten); his grandchildren, Caroline Plyler, CJ Plyler and Kinsley DuBose; and his siblings, Sammy DuBose (Nancy), David DuBose (Sonia), Philip Victor (Mary), Doug DuBose and Dorian Herbert (Lantz). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
