We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2024, at the age of 86, Rachel Richardson Hargette (Monroe, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Richardson and Johnnie Parker Richardson; her husband Hugh Clark Hargette, Sr.; her daughter Tonya Hargette Brigman; and her siblings, Ethel Dean Richardson, Opha Lee McBride, Thelma Lisenby, Ruth Reeder, Bessie Griffin, Louise Richardson, Erskine Richardson, Hayden Richardson and Rayford Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Hargette Huntley (Jimmy) of Monroe, Hugh Clark Hargette, Jr. (Danielle) and TJ; her sister Elaine Richardson Parker of Monroe; and her grandchildren, Dylan Long of Monroe, Amity Huntley of Monroe, Jordan Brigman of Monroe, Austin Huntley of Monroe, Jason Hargette (Nicole), Lindsay Hargette Smith (Jay) of South Carolina, Amanda Benton, Amber Munson (Brandon) of Monroe, Shannon Brigman Lopez (Richard) and Allen Brigman (Salina) of Texas.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A burial was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Chapel (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
