We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2022, at the age of 82, Rachel Polk Pylant of Monroe, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, S. L. Polk and Jane Polk; her husband Cecil Pylant; her son Jeff Byrum; and her siblings, Peggy Chaney, Harry Polk and Bennett Polk.

She is survived by: her children, Frankie Byrum (Melinda) of Pulaski, VA and Robin Hogan (Randy). She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
