With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Uarda Pierce (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on March 19, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pratt and Uarda Pratt; her former husbands, Lyle Johnson and Art Buhl; and her husband Robert Pierce.

She is survived by: her children, Ron Johnson, Renee Wilson, David Buhl, Robin Latka and Scott Pierce.

“From Renee (Oldest Daughter): I'll always cherish the (10) ten day vacation mom and I had in Maui, Hawaii back in April, 1999. I lived on the Island for (1) one year. When I returned, I showed mom all the "hot spots" for locals, that the tourists wouldn't know about. We ate a Bubba Gump Restaurant (see photo) and had the best dinner ever. Our favorite place, which was our last day on Maui, was Mama's Fish House in Paia, Hawaii. We ordered fresh caught Mahi Mahi fish and it melted in our mouths.”
