She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Joshua Brooks and Lola Wallace Brooks; her husband Charlie L. Funderburk; and her sister Ruth Brooks McCachren of North Wilkesboro. She is survived by: her daughters, Norma and Iris R. Funderburk of Statesville, NC; her grandchildren, Amber, Blair, Rodney, Sarah and Ivy F. Morgan (David) of Monroe, NC; her great grandchild Holly Morgan; her son Charles Wayne "Chip" Funderburk of Gastonia, NC; and her sisters, Rebecca B. Blackwelder of Mooresville, NC and Myra B. Gray (Dan) of Concord, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
