It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ned Brinson Helms (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Helms and Fulton Helms; and his siblings, Dorothy Simpson, Jimmy, Bobby and Rodney Helms.

He is survived by: his wife Rena McGee-Helms; his children, Scott Helms, Celestia Roseman and Christopher Price; and his siblings, Buena Ann Presson, Larry Helms (Shirley) and Richard Helms.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
