It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Phifer Hobbs (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Phifer and Ethel Phifer; her son Marty Hobbs; and her sisters, Arbutus Redmon and Pauline Helms.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Hobbs; her sons, Tony Hobbs (Mary Ann) and Darrell Hobbs (Lourie); her grandchildren, Stephanie Abromavich and Jacy Leigh Hobbs; her great grandchildren, Lucas Chase and Piper Grace Abromavich; her siblings, Artha Keeter (Arter), John Kenneth Phifer (Francis), Joe Martin (Tina), Daniel Phifer and Gerald Phifer; and her sister-in-law Joyce Davis.
