He was predeceased by: his father Mike Helms Sr.; and his children, Mike "Mikie" Helms III and Sondra Rape. He is survived by: his daughters, Toni Cook (Randy) and Debbie Whitley; and his grandchildren, Shane Whitley, Crystal Burch, BJ Cook, Missy Cook, Michael Rape and Sarah Rape. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and numerous other special family members and friends.
