It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Gene Williams of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Williams and Mary Ruth Williams; his sister Enola Gay Williams Boyd; his brother-in-law John Boyd; and his nephew Travis Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Williams; his stepchildren, Kari Haigler (Tony) and Robbie Stegall (Megan); his former wife Bernice Thompson Pressley; his son Jeremy Williams (Marla); his brother Vernon Williams (Kay); his grandchildren, Justin Stegall, Erin Haigler, Carissa Stegall, William Haigler, Daxtyn Stegall, Leightyn Stegall and Anna Williams; his nieces, Beth Williams, Minda Ciardi, Shayna Boyd and Rachel Boyd-Nichols; and his nephew Andy Williams. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall (2613 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110).
