He is survived by: his mother Doris Jean Hargett; his siblings, Ward Deese (Penny) and Sandra Deese Davis (Jerry); his niece Penelope Deese McClenny (Justin); his great-nephews, Gus of Monroe and Bo McClenny of Monroe; his nephew Zach Deese (Leah); his great-nephews, Waylon and Ronan Deese of Canton; his niece Olivia Davis Gathings (Lucas) of Wadesboro; his nephew Zeb Davis (Caitlyn) of Rockledge, Fla; his close friend Frank Harbison of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his pet Bella.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Council on Aging of Union County and the Humane Society of Union County.
