She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Earl Maness and Willie Lucinda Rogers Maness; her husband Eugene Mills; and her brothers, Hugh Will Maness, Sr. and Jimmy Reed Maness.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Mills (Joanne) of Monroe and Paula Mills Scott (Bowen) of Kingsport, TN; her grandchildren, Joy Mills Widener (Hunter) of Charlotte, Emily Mills Newton (Brent) of Indian Trail, Kraemer Scott of Raleigh, Ansel Scott of Kingsport, TN and Baxter Scott of Kingsport, TN; and her great grandchildren, Judson Newton of Indian Trail, Jackson Widener of Denver, CO and Lauren Widener of Miamisburg.
While her service is not private, the family asks that everyone attending wear a mask and practice social distancing.
