It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Tarlton (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred David and Beddie Esther Green Tarlton; his son Eddie Ferlin Tarlton; his siblings, Foster, Frank and Royd of Vestal, WD; his son Floyd; and his brothers, Herman, Jessie (Kate), Bobby and Shirlie (Ruby).
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Rushing Hurst Tarlton; his children, Marvin Tarlton (Tammy) and Lisa Starnes (David); his stepdaughter Alta Davis (Johnny); his grandchildren, Leslie Tarlton (Geraldine), Jodi Lennon (Zach), Megan Martinez (Fernando), Jacob Tarlton (Tira), Kelsey Kay and Amber Starnes; his stepgrandson Jonathan Davis (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Andres, Zander, Aspen, Evalyn and Kix Howard.
