We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2021, at the age of 82, Marlene Simpson (Monroe, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Grady and Mable Baucom Carter; and her husband Donald Reece Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Simpson and Donna Broadaway (Dennis); her brother Larry Carter (Jan); her grandsons, Chad Strawn (Kristin) and Scott Strawn (Heather); her stepgrandchildren, Lindsey Kipke (Mike) and Jeff Broadaway; her great grandchildren, Evan Strawn, Emmarie Strawn, Gavin Strawn, Xander Strawn, Reagan Strawn and Landyn Strawn; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Gavin B. Strawn, Bellamy Kipke, Raelynn Kipke and Harlowe Kipke.
