He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Carroll (Mullin) and Daniel Carroll of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his nephew Danny Sivertsen. He is survived by: his sisters, Kathleen Carroll of Monroe, NC, Elizabeth Kraus of Smyrna, GA, Debbie Daston of Washingtonville, NY, Catie Atkins of Lebanon, NJ and Becky McBride. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A reception will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe (204 S Main St, Monroe, NC 28112).
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe page to help offset Mark's eternal reef and service expenses.
