He is survived by: his wife Debbie Honeycutt Hobbs; his children, Robert "Rodney" Hobbs (Trish), Deborah "Chrissy" Medlin (Dale), Connie Mangun (Dennis) and Scotty Hobbs (Susie); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Hobbs (Karrie), Brandi Watkins (Kevin), Daniel Medlin (Dana), Tristan Mangum (Grace), Tyler Hobbs, Justin Hobbs (Ashley), Shelby Hobbs, Ryan Hobbs and Kayla Shortsleeve; his great grandchildren, Madison, Joslyn, Jeremy, Charli, Kaden, Garreth, Brayden, Riley, Jackson, Levi, Saylor and Avi; and his siblings, David Hobbs (Diane), Steven Hobbs, Ronnie Hobbs, Joyce Davis (Bobby) and Evelyn Smith (Shelton).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Chapel (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
