She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Ross and Nora Ross; her husband Donnie Couick; and her brothers, Johnny C. Ross and Tim R. Ross.

She is survived by: her son Mike Couick of Monroe; and her siblings, Jocelyn R. Griffin of Monroe, Tommy Ross of Monroe and Bobby Ross of Elgin, SC..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mountain Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 2509 Mountain Springs Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112.
