She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jess and Lou "Pearl" Simpson; her husband William Marvin "Bill" Funderburk; her daughter Carol Marie Funderburk; and her brothers, Bill Simpson and Rayvon Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Lee Funderburk (Kathy) of Marion, SC. and Sue Funderburk Simpson of Monroe; and her grandchildren, Lauren Funderburk Grismer (Jeremiah) of Monroe, Charles Lee "Chase" Funderburk II of Marion, SC., Michael William Grismer of Monroe and Matthew Charles Grismer of Monroe.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Chapel (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
