She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Jones and Ruby Collins Jones; her husband Bruce McClellan; her siblings, J. C. Jones, Harold Jones, Doris Baird and Frances Smith; and her grandsons, Nicholas Sherrin and Matthew Sherrin.
She is survived by: her children, John McClellan and Paula Sherrin (Mark); her brother Robert Jones; her grandchildren, Jason McClellan, Kalin Helms (Jonathon), Jonathan McClellan and Ashley McClellan; and her great grandchildren, Ryser, Elizabeth and Waylon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Chapel (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Oakland Baptist Church, 600 E. Sunset Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.
