She was predeceased by: her son Joey Cox. She is survived by: her parents, Joyce Baker Cox and John Phifer; her sons, Michael Cox and Jeffrey Short; her sister Lisa McCall; and her close friend Terrie McDaniels. She is also survived by her six grandchildren.
