She was predeceased by: her husband William Clinton Carnes. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Russell D. Carnes (Kay), Neal Carnes (Shirley) and Mary Jo Braswell; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Scarbrough (Jerry), Patty Magee (David) of Australia, Lynn Carnes, Gail Pilcher (Richard), Mark Carnes (Lori), Charles Carnes and Danny Braswell (Kim).

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Union County or to Waxhaw United Methodist Church.
