She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Hinson and Flossie Hinson; her daughter-in-law Rose Phifer; and her siblings, Louise Griffin, Bernice Keziah, Harry Hinson and Charles Hinson.
She is survived by: her husband W. D. Phifer; her children, Renee Guffey (Jimmy) and Jeffrey Phifer; and her brother Billy Ray Hinson of Monroe, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Austin Grove Baptist Church.
