Kathryn L. McBride Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn L. McBride (Monroe, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathryn L. McBride to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie James and Jenny Beatrice Love Long; and her siblings, Betty Belk, Rachel Long and Walter "Tuck" Long.
She is survived by: her brothers, Tom Long (Flora) and Jim Long (Louise); her sister-in-law Mildred Long; her daughters, Jenny McNeely (David) and Carol Thompson (Bill); her grandchildren, Crystal Parks (Chris), Joey McNeely (Brooke), Tracy Mishoe (Johnathon), Ryan Thompson (Vanessa) and David McNeely (Jamie); and her niece Karen Darden. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; eight nephews.
In lieu of flowers (as they always made her sneeze), donations in Kathryn's memory may be made to any of the aforementioned organizations, the Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
